I'm finally going to Japan!

Yeah!

And I've hit 27.

I celebrated my last birthday as a single girl.

Wonder what is going to happen in the next year?

Took leave today to slack, and it's back to work again.

I can really imagine myself not working and staying at home, cook, bake, wait for toot to clean up. Do a bit of surfing, online shopping, yoga, gym. Ahhh.. will the day ever come when I get to live life the way I want, earn the money by doing things I like?

I'm so sad.
I went to a ex colleague's wedding last week. And a few of them said I put on weight.

Then I went for celebrations with my friends, took some photos, I looked so fat in them.

Then today, I met the same ex-colleague, she said her husband said I put on weight.

While going home, I met another ex-colleague from the same company, he said I put on weight. And that I should really lose weight cos I won't look nice in my gown. And he also said that I used to look sweet and cute, now I look older and matured.

While talking to this colleague, we met 2 more of the ex-colleagues from the company. And their eyes told me that I'm fat.

I'm so sad. I don't understand how I managed to allow myself to balloon past the big 50Kg. And now, I can't lose all these weight. :(

I really need to lose a lot of weight for my wedding.

Sigh.

I don't want to be a fat bride.

I don't understand why after we confirm the date and took a smaller room then they are telling us that they need more tables!

Why can't they use their common sense, I can only have max 28 tables and they want to take 13 tables, that leaves like 15 tables to be shared between toot's friends, my parent's friends and relatives and my friends.

So who's getting married here?!??

I hate this lor. What's the point of asking them so early how many tables they want. And they can say max is 10 and it's very loose liao. Now, with a smaller ballroom, they actually want to increase the number of tables. Shouldn't it be the other way round??

Wedding date is finally confirmed!

Now we have to decide which perks I want. hmm...

Lantian went on quite smoothly. At least my panelists all reached in time. I actually stayed in the office till almost 10, shared a cab with another colleague. That's how I spent my Halloween. Those who were more energetic actually went for party at clarke quay, st james etc. I'm pretty sure I'm old, cos my legs were hurting so badly from standing in my heels the whole evening.
Anyway, I had to go home to prepare for my 6 sigma exam, which I'm still at the overview, and exams is on wed. >_<

Also went to wedding show at Suntec on Sat. Put a $50 deposit for photoshoot in Taiwan. Very good deal. But toot couldn't stand them. And he was afraid that if things go wrong, we can't go anywhere for help. So I checked with my cousin who married a Taiwanese, and her parents in laws also never heard of the company, even though they said they were so big so big. So we were quite worried that we would be conned. And we actually talked to them for about 3 hours?

Then we dropped by at Golden Horse Awards in Marina Sq, very cheena name but we were introduced to the designer. He was really attitude. But he's very pro, very good credentials. He stayed in Paris for 5 years, and his designs has always been picked during Paris wedding show. But then, the costs were a bit high and he's not the kind who throw in freebies or photos.

I guess because he was so attitude, we actually felt more comfy because he was so confident of his work that he doesn't need to give freebies? In fact, the albums he made are really nice. He touched up the photos himself. And he promised he will be the main coordinator, and he will do all the artistic direction. Most importantly, I fell in love with one of the gowns! Super nice. And makes me slim. haha. Spent another 2 hour plus there.

So we thought we should see about 1 or 2 more bridal shops before we confirm again, and get our refund for the $50 deposit for that Taiwan bridal shop.

Sunday, we went to The Aisle. Gowns were quite nice. The designer actually could come up with cuttings that look nice on me. I was quite impressed. But we felt that we couldn't connect with them for some reason. The package was very much worth it too, but the quality was acceptable only. Spent about 2 hour plus there

Then, we made our way back to suntec. toot went to get back his deposit. Lucky for us, or him, cos I made him go himself, they really return us the $50. :)
Went for dinner before we drop by at GHA again. Made the designer go through the package and yes, we confirmed and made full payment, to be paid in instalment.

I went for the MTM package cos if the designer is so good, it's kinda wasted not to get him to design for me. So instead of the cheapest package at 3388, we took the 3988 package. For $600 bucks more, I get to MTM my WG, EG and toot's suit. Photos were still not sufficient, but it's about 8 more than the cheapest plan. It's actually more worth it. And it's quite likely we have to top up more photos to make the album look more decent, but we can worry about that later.

I guess he's not that inflexible, he actually threw in all the small items like father's jackets, car decorations for up to 20 cars! Fresh flowers, accessories etc.
And most importantly, he's going to do a MTV montage for me for free. :)

I asked if he could do for me the day before, he said, "See whether I like you or not." :)

Quite satisfied with the package I got, and quite happy I got him as my designer, cos he will go for photoshoots with me and do all the creative directing. He's damn creative. And he's a perfectionist, that's why toot was quite surprise I could click with him, cos I'm a perfectionist too.

Anyway, the topup for the photos are going to cost usabout $2.6k, not sure if we will really top up so much, but since we have to top up, toot says that we should eat cheaper food. Set the limit at $30 and for each meal, the balance will go into the wedding photos fund. Haha

I don't mind you know. Cos I can slim down at the same time. Designer says that I can fit into his size 6 gown means I'm not fat, but I probably have to tone up a bit. Wahahaha, more yoga!

And so, I actually confirm by bridal shop before my wedding dinner.
It's likely to be end Oct or end Nov, depending on that last couple. I wonder why my coordination is taking so long.

And Designer is going Paris again in June. So my photo taking will be in Apr or May, means I have to start to lose weight and see what gowns I like now! And it's already Nov. Only about 5 mths to go. hmmm...

But it will also mean that by Mid next year, I wouldn't have to worry so much. I hope. hehehe.

It's a long entry today. I have a tiring weekend. But gown trying was fun. :)

Ooh, I paid for the Bridal package also ok. hehe
