Got my Omnia and so looking forward to my Batam trip.

Our flexi benefits got increased to $600!
You can use it for anything except food or vices. I'm going to use it to get Omnia, pay for the batam trip and maybe some of my dental.

We had a meet the parents session today. toot's parents and my parents met up for dim sum before the flat selection.
We finished lunch quite fast.
Then started discussing about the wedding.
Then both sides kept saying, nvm la, as long as the young people are happy. Probably there are only a few customs we have to keep in mind.

But then, you know parents right, after that they will add on to this and that and all those funny things.

Eventually we came to the conclusion:

1. Move in to the condo first as holding area from Sep.
2. Wedding to be held in 8th month of the lunar calendar if possible.
3. toot's side say everything follow our side.
4. My dad will give us a few dates after he check and have it calculated.
5. We can decide on our own wedding dinner and place.
6. But they will go food tasting with us, cos it's important that our relatives like the food.
7. My mum say we don't have much custom to follow. (Which i really hope so leh)
8. My dad say he is not selling daughter so as long as we are happy. (So funny)
9. toot's mum says 09 sep not good cos the couple who choose a flat in punggol got into accident and they wanted to get married on that date.

I think it's quite stressful cos we have about 1 year to prepare all these!

Next on the flat selection.
We were so noisy!
And everyone were just looking at the screen and saying ok, it's still there, it's still there.
And yes, I got the flat I want!
I think it's a blessing in disguise. Cos most people got the most convenient units, nearer to the MRT. It then forced us to look at what was available. And we were looking at this block which was super ex of the lot. And my dad was saying:
1. It's a point block
2. Good fengshui
3. West sun blocked.

When I checked with the officer, she said the same thing. So yes, we selected the flat.

The whole process took 1 hour. But then, we are only selecting the flat under HDB's provision, meaning that they will still assess us because of toot's minority share in the condo.

And we have to wait 1 to 1.5 months for the confirmation.

Sigh. No reason to be happy today! At least 1 part is down. Hopefully everything goes on smoothly. pray ah!

It is finally going to be friday.

So glad I made it through the week.
Even more glad that I've made it through the event.

For some reason, people were asking me why I looked as though I'm running the whole show on my own. I thought having 3 people to do a simple job is enough, I was so wrong. I felt like a babysitter.

This big shot sent a compliment letter to compliment people that do not deserve the credit and myself. It was sent to the CEO, which of cos CEO cc it to us. I couldn't stand it, I replied with thanks and gave due credits. Someone actually felt happy with the compliment? Of cos she does, for not doing much.

I was like a mad woman throughout the event. And it had to rain after that. Luckily we had a short lift from a good guy from Hyatt to CK Tang. With my tiring feet cos I stood the whole day, I went to get some stuffs, and took a bus home. And got rejected by 2 freaking buses.

So not my day. The next day, I was so down with flu.

Anyway, the event is over. Made me realised that sometimes, I should just let go and hack care.
